Plantain plantain is found wild in Europe, North Africa and Western Asia. In Poland, it is available in many places, most often we can find it simply on lawns, fields or meadows. The species adapts very easily to various conditions. That is why it spreads across most continents. It was believed that it must be a powerful remedy for all kinds of wounds because it did not get lost among muddy roads crossed by horse hooves and run over by steel rims of carts.
